My Genius Hour Project

For my genius hour project I chose to focus on old and modern cartoons. 

I chose it because I thought it was a fascinating topic and no one else has done it.

I also wanted to learn about Walt Disney and other cartoon makers. I hope you enjoy!

This term Rimu class have been working on NZ artists. We all chose an artist to do a presentation on and then paint on a canvas. I chose Marion Towns to do mine on. I chose her because she only paints nature. I think that learning about NZ artists is important because we need to learn about different ways of painting so we can have more affective paintings.

For Digi Day Chloe, Nikita and I made a shared document and wrote some stories about one of these characters. I liked writing a story about Ancient Rome and it was good to see what the others were writing and having people comment while I was writing. It was good reading more advice on how to make it better instantly.
